Public bug reported: I'm running: X Window System Version 7.0.0 Release Date: 21 December 2005 X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0, Release 7.0
This is a small bug. Running a Fresh Install of Ubuntu 6.06 LTS and looking at /var/log/Xorg.0.log: (II) Initializing built-in extension XEVIE error opening security policy file /etc/X11/xserver/SecurityPolicy (**) Option "CoreKeyboard" The file "SecurityPolicy" should be in the directory "/etc/X11/xserver/" but the directory does not exist. Copying the file from "/usr/share/doc/examples/SecurityPolicy" solves the problem. A thread about the bug can be found in: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=186035 ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- Missing "/etc/X11/xserver/SecurityPolicy" in Ubuntu 6.06 LTS https://launchpad.net/bugs/51661 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
