Public bug reported:
koffice-data creates templates under /usr/share/templates which results in some
problems.
The main problem/bug is that koffice-data is installed in kubuntu-desktop per
default through krita but koffice isn't installed per default. So if you click
in Kubuntu with the right mouse button on the Desktop and choose Create New and
any Document it creates koffice files which can't be opened in OpenOffice.
The second bug in dapper is that if you install koffice the templates create
wrong/old files since koffice 1.5.1 uses the Oasis format as default format
instead of the old koffice one. This ist not so important but annoying.
IMHO the koffice templates should be moved to necessary koffice binarys or the
main apps like KWord, KSpread and so on and updated to the new Oasis format.
