Public bug reported:
I have to type /etc/init.d/networking restart into a root console,
whenever the network is swapped.
I believe dhcp an act upon disconnects and reconnects and set up the
network correctly.
Note: the original reporter indicated the bug was in package 'dhclient';
however, that package was not published in Ubuntu.
