Public bug reported:
Using Dapper fully updated.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open Add/Remove Applications
2) Tick some programs
3) Click apply
4) A prompt appears asking for an administrative password
5) Enter nothing and click ok
6) No error is displayed - it "calculates dependencies" etc again and clears
all selections.
