yes, problem solved for me too with: 1. echo "options snd-via82xx dxs_support=2" |sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base 2. reboot 3. then System Settings -> Sound system -> Hardware -> Select audio device: ALSA 4. reboot
