Public bug reported:
I deleted some folders off my external USB hard drive and the Trash will not
let me remove all the files. When I emptied the Trash most of the folders and
files were removed but I still have about 100 MB that it won't allow me to
remove. When I checked the hidden directories on the USB drive they were still
there. I have tried numerous commands (that I saw on the Ubuntu forums, etc
and they are still there.
This is really annoying, if the files can't be removed why was I allowed to
move them to Trash in the first place? I have used gksudo nautilus to try to
delete them from the Trash and it still does not let me. I also tried to
change their permissions but still did not have any luck.
