I don't think 3.8 should enter -updates. If it fixes one or two high-impact bugs, open bugs for them, and follow the SRU procedure. Now, for those who really want 3.8 in hardy, ie. with potential regressions, and knowing all changes haven't been thoroughly checked, etc., I reopened the -backports task.
