Hi, I've got a 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 02) It has some complicated settings in gnome-volume-control, but it's worked fine for me in Hardy. I'm here because it doesn't work for me in Intrepid's .27 kernel.
