I'm in the process of testing this with the various rdepends, but I
think that given the way clamav works, we need to update and suck up the
inevitable pain. The Debian maintainer intends this for Lenny for
similar reasons and we are working together on getting the rdepends in
shape for both distros.
- Package builds fine on the Ubuntu toolchain and if history is any guide will
work just fine, the only issue will be the rdepends.
+ Package builds fine on the Ubuntu toolchain and if history is any guide will
work just fine, the only issue will be the rdepends. The rdepends do need
patching. Since Debian already has the new clamav in Sid, I don't think this
will be a huge problem. I've already uploaded a new klamav revision to Sid.
For Intrepid, the rdepends are:
+
+ python-clamav
+ php5-clamavlib
+ klamav
+ havp
+ gurlchecker
+ dansguardian
