(I think I was the only one to mention cairo here) At this point I
rather think it is in the X server, related to 2D acceleration. It could
be in the driver, but having the same bug in both fglrx and ati would be
surprising.
Rami, which drivers have you tried in Intrepid? Did you try EXA
acceleration?
