I tried the alpha 5 release, apparently no luck, when booting in normal mode I only get two messages: Kernel alive Kernel realy alive Then nothing.
If i remove the 'splash' and 'quiet' from the boot flags, I see that it detects my cpu's then freezes with information about starting some virtualization I think. I will reboot and check again. -- Cant boot live cd of ubuntu 8.04 x64 beta on amilo xa2528, hangs after "attached scsi generic sg1 type0" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/215057 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
