Public bug reported:
Hello,
After having upgraded to Ubuntu 8.04 I am experiencing that my WLAN
connection is lost a couple of minutes after the system is started.
"sudo iwlist scanning" after the connection lost does not show any
access points any more. The device "wlan0" is still there.
However, I am able to reconnect by:
"sudo rmmod rtl8187
sudo modprobe rtl8187"
I use the WLAN adapter of my Asus P5B Deluxe Wifi mainboard with the Realtek
RTL8187 chipset. lsusb:

Is there some way to avoid the connection loss ?
Thank you very much.
