Unfortunately, according to
http://packages.qa.debian.org/r/rio500/news/20050729T123432Z.html (cf.
http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2005/06/msg00014.html),
the package had an RC bug(s) that was not cared for. Because the source
package is no longer in a supported version of Ubuntu, the maintainers
can no longer care for it in a timely fashion.
