You'll have better luck without installing the nvidia drivers!

Installing the nvidia drivers will break 3D from anything except the
nvidia driver.  Removing the nvidia driver should fix this for you.

Marking as invalid.  If you don't believe you deliberately installed the
nvidia driver at some point, you may wish to file a bug against the
"jockey" package which provides the System->Administration->Hardware
Drivers program.
