Hi,
bug 228765 seems to be a duplicate of this one. Here is my comment
from that bug:
I am unable to make this crash on Intrepid.
My steps were
1) Create new user
2) Run polkit-gnome-authorization as my normal user
3) Go to freedesktop/hal/power-management/Shut down the system and click
"Block"
4) Select the new user and don't set any constraints.
5) Restart polkit-gnome-authorization.
6) Go to freedesktop/hal/power-management/Shut down the system and click
"Block"
7) Click on "Show authorizations from all users".
There was no crash and I saw the standard user icon with the block symbol in the
authorizations box.
Could you either tell me what I did wrong in the above steps so that I can try
and
reproduce again, or confirmed that it is fixed by trying the next Intrepid live
CD.
Thanks,
James
