Hi Matteo, I have used ekiga to send SMS's to a local sms client without issue. This issue could be a network issue, a problem with diamondcard, or as you reported a bug with ekiga.
Could i ask you to contact your provider, and/or a community forum attached (if one exists) and find if the problem is well known. I would suggest trying another SIP SMS client, but i can't think of another one. This will help narrow down the issue.
