could you test whether this issue persists in network-manager 0.7? We
provide preview backports for hardy in the network-manager team PPA
(https://edge.launchpad.net/~network-manager/+archive). Take care those
are experimental packages. so be prepared to downgrade _with_ lost
network in worst case (usually that shouldnt happen).
