Eee Box is directly connected to a Philips 170B LCD monitor via the DVI
port.
When the DVI>VGA converter is used, it's attached to the Eee Box and an
analogue VGA cable is then connected to it and the VGA port on the monitor.

No, single screen as shown in the "no converter used" screen shot.
