Public bug reported: Binary package hint: imagemagick
I have just upgraded to Intrepid Ibex. I encountered a problem with glipper which I have already reported. During the report for glipper I used import as I've done thousands of times before. I first tried capturing the two debug windows from glipper and I encountered a problem with the second. I ran import and used a bounding box to capture both windows. The second window captured some type of corruption. I then tried to capture the one window separately and encountered the same problem. I'm going to attach a series of graphic files to the ticket to help explain the problem. They are as follows: glipperIssue.jpg = the bounding box capture of the two windows showing clearly the distortion on the second. glipper.png = good window capture glipper1.png = distorted window that was captured separately using glipperTotal.jpg = The two windows captured together using the screenshot capability of "the gimp" Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch) Release: 8.10 Codename: intrepid Package: imagemagick Status: install ok installed Priority: optional Section: graphics Installed-Size: 4464 Maintainer: Ubuntu Core developers <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Architecture: i386 Version: 7:6.3.7.9.dfsg1-2ubuntu3 Replaces: geomview (<= 1.8.0), imagemagick-doc Depends: libbz2-1.0, libc6 (>= 2.3.4), libfontconfig1 (>= 2.4.0), libfreetype6 (>= 2.3.5), libice6 (>= 1:1.0.0), libjpeg62, liblcms1 (>= 1.15-1), libmagick10, libsm6, libtiff4, libx11-6, libxext6, libxt6, zlib1g (>= 1:1.1.4) 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82865G Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02) Subsystem: Dell Device 0151 Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 16 Memory at e8000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=128M] Memory at feb80000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512K] I/O ports at ed98 [size=8] Capabilities: <access denied> Kernel modules: intelfb ** Affects: imagemagick (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Intrepid: import does not capture an error window properly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/269425 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
