Quite honestly, Plasma has gone through tons and tons of changes since
KDE 4.0.0. Plasma is much more stable now in KDE 4.1.1, and even if this
crash did occur in KDE 4.1.1, the backtrace would probably be different.
Right now there's not much we can do with this bug report. We can't
forward this bug report on to KDE since there has been so much change
since 4.0.0, and since we don't know how to reproduce it we can't really
get a recent backtrace, if the crash still even exists.
What should have happened is that either a bug triager or alternately
you would have forwarded the report on to bugs.kde.org while it was
still fresh. Though we cannot put any blame on you since nobody told you
that was necessary. The blame for letting this bug go stale lies fully
with the bug team, which early this year was facing manpower issues...
We do thank you for taking the time to report this bug, however, and are
very sorry for allowing this bug report to go stale and cause you
frustration. (And yes, this message was fully hand-crafted, no premade
responses here. ) :-) We hope for your continued support in the future.
