Confirmed for (not alternative) 8.04.1 (just wrote a cd, in fact, I wrote 2 cd's thinking the first was flawed).
Tried to install and it hangs at "Retrieving: binutils-static-udeb". PowerEdge 2500, I think we have 1 processor and 2-4 raid drives in it currently.
