Ok I found the command on the web but something weird happened. If I am not wrong the command I was asking you for was: rm /var/lib/dpkg/status. I tried that am it said I could not be delete it so I proceed it adding sudo at first. I did that and it said that the file did not exist so it could not be deleted. I searched the file through the graphical interface and it was rename it to status-old. If I check for updates I get the following:
