On a laptop with the following sound card:
Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio Controller [8086:284b]
(rev 03)
we couldn't get any sound with Hardy 8.04.1. After a fresh
reeinstallation of Hardy to regain the initial - non messed up
configuration we upgraded to Intrepid Alpha5, unfortunately with no
luck. Couldn't get sound work with the Kernel 2.6.27-2 and alsa 1.0.7
neither.
I attach the result of the alsa-info.sh script.
