I can also confirm this as described by the original bug-reporter. This is 
however not only the case with firefox. Other applications like the "login 
window"-application (System->administration->Login window) also behave similar. 
If i switch between tabs, some part of the content in the new tab is rendered, 
but the tab itself is highlighted on the last one i visited. A new click, or 
alt-tab will trigger a complete render of the windowcontent and is then shown 
properly.
I didn't experience this before 10th of september.
I'll be happy to provide more info if that is needed. I have added some 
screenshots of the behaviour.
