Here is /var/log/Xorg.0.log from today not sure if it will be helpful now that resolution issue has been resolved. Also the resolution was actually 680x420 - I got that slightly wrong. Spoke to one friend who also had Hardy resolution issues and there was another person on ubuntu forums with a screen resolution stuck at 320x210
"Could you please also try to run without any /etc/X11/xorg.conf and let Xorg autodetect your display and video card? Please also attach the /var/log/Xorg.0.log from this attempt." not sure how to do this and as the resolution is now working, not sure if it would tell you anything. ** Attachment added: "Xorg.0.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/17601278/Xorg.0.log -- screen resolution stuck at 600x420 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/269813 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
