Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ia32-libs

When fiddling with the flash player, I wanted to do a clean install. Not
knowing how important ia32-libs is, I removed it, because it seemed to be in
the way. When I saw the description of it, I wanted to reinstall it before my
next reboot, but it failed because it tried to overwrite /lib32/libcap.so.1.10,
which is also in package lib32cap1.
I removed lib32cap1 (1:1.10.14build1), after which ia32-libs installed cleanly.
Then I reinstalled libcap1 and now my flash still doesn't work ;-)

Ubuntu 8.04.1 amd64

apt-get mumbled something about not being able to write a file, because
it was already there. Why didn't it just leave it and continue instead
of panicking?
