This issue is still occurring in Intrepid Alpha 5 with a Thinkpad R32. In Alpha 4, Mute button will mute in hardware, pressing a volume key will unmute. Hotkey-Setup only seems to be able to see the volume up/down keys, mute key does nothing when pressed while setting up the key.
Latest updates with Alpha 5 do not see the buttons at all. They will not detect any presses of the ThinkPad button, Volume up/down/mute, or LCD brightness up/down.
