Colin, it was never my intention to stole Wouter patch. I just wanted to help getting that issue fixed, issuing a debdiff as stated in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU/Contributing I'll change all the debdiff I attached to others bugs to fix that, also change back Standards-Version, and don't generate debdiff for patches.
