Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: knetworkmanager

  Hello,

at home I have a hidden wireless network. I used to connect to it from
my Toshiba Sattelite M50 laptop using KNetworkManager on Kubuntu 8.04.
There used to be no trouble with it, but recently some weird thing
started happening (I guess, it all began after some recent upgrade,
however I don't remember exactly when).

After about 2 or 3 hours of stable connection, KNetworkManager
suddenly will disconnect and try to connect again. And it won't work.
While it's still working, I can display a list of all wireless networks
in the sensitivity (there are quite a lot around here). After it does
this weird stuff, no list is there. And it won't connect to the wireless
network anymore.

The wired network, however, works just fine with KNetworkManager even
after that. Right now, for example, I'm connected to my router with a
LAN-Cable, because WLAN won't work again.

After a reboot WLAN works again, but again it lasts only a few hours
till the next drop.

Thank you for your help in advance!
