Public bug reported:
I edited /boot/grub/menu.lst to add the following kopt line for default
kernel options to be applied to all my kernels.
kopt=clocksource=hpet
On rebooting, that line disappears from menu.lst and the option is not
passed to the kernel commandline
Expected behaviour:
- menu.lst changes would not be lost
