Public bug reported: When I right-click on a folder in Nautilus and choose to sign it, I am prompted to select which key to use for signature and then asked to type that key's passphrase. However, if the folder contains more than one file, the passphrase will be required for each file. This is confusing because it makes one wonder whether one typed in the wrong password, and annoying because of the amount of typing required to sign a folder of even a small size.
My proposed solution is to allow the user to type the passphrase once and use that authentication to sign each individual file. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Too many passphrases required to sign folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/271135 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
