Yes, this is indeed a confirmed bug that only exhibits itself sometimes with the 2.0 series KTorrent releases.
This bug does not happen in SVN, but nobody (not even the developers) knows exactly what change in SVN fixed this bug. As a result, I am at a loss of ideas as to how to fix this bug... Sorry.
