** Description changed:

  Hello from Germany,

so i got this new toshiba u400 m14 notebook (very nice) with this new Intel
X4500HD (G45) graphiccard.
So i got an preinstalled vista what i wiped from the system an installed
vista business.
- then i resized the partition to have an 15gb free space for ubuntu. next i
downloaded the newes release of ubuntu (2.04 intel x86 from ubuntu.com).
+ then i resized the partition to have an 15gb free space for ubuntu. next i
downloaded the newes release of ubuntu (8.04 intel x86 from ubuntu.com).
after selecting "install ubuntu" from the boot menue , the installation loads
some routines and whenn it comes to the GUI part, where normaly ubuntu
installation loading xorg and the GUI installationroutine it comes to
graphicfailures.
  i took a picture ->> http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/2322/ubudu9.jpg
it seems that xorg or the version 2.04 doesnt support the intel card.

i downloaded the alternate installation cd and installed ubuntu in the
alternative doslike mode. it worked fine.
after rebooting , ubuntu loads then when normally the login screen starts, it
comes again to these graphic failures... it seems xorg have problems with this
card.

so i think you guys should update the xorg-intel driver or files so that
i can download an updated release that works fine =)

but what can i do now ?

in recoverymode -> root i have no internet connection to run apt-get
xorg-intel or update.
  (not loaded ethernet driver ?)
