I had the same problem. Every time that I swich-on the computer the masterbackend is not running. If I start it from terminal console (sudo /etc/init.d/mythbackend start) it start normally without error and the front-end work well. this is my log from the new tool of the frnteend http://mythbuntu.pastebin.com/f13faf473
