Steps to reproduce:

1) Sign up for email with a provider that give you a IMAP mail option (in my
case IMAP but not GMail).
2) Set up TB to have the account information.
3) Keep the account open for a few months and start gathering mail.
4) Create folders and rules to classify the mail.
5) You will find that certain folders will not show new items in them unless
those folders are selected.

Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide to
assist developers.
