That new upstream version is from 2003. Given that Debian removed ao40tlmview from the archive because the AMSAT AO-40 satellite is no longer operational, does it make sense to update the package?
>From Debian bug #457130 >(http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=457130): | Please remove the package ao40tlmview. It provides a tool that is no longer | useful since the AMSAT AO-40 satellite is no longer operational. It might | theoretically be useful for viewing old telemetry logs, but I do not believe | that potential use warrants keeping this package in Debian. -- Please update ao40tlmview to 1.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/256439 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
