Yesterdaynight i got a Toshiba Satellite L300 from a friend to work with, also with the RTL-8102E NIC on it (The NIC was not working yet). Today i installed a fresh install from the Ubuntu Intrepid i386-alternate cdrom (Just to be sure i had the NIC disabled in the BIOS during install), and the NIC works without any problems so far!
