I tried Intrepid Alpha 6 yesterday and things were a little different:
- Unplugging the AC adapter while in Gnome dimmed the screen a little. Plugging it back in restored the original brightness. - Brightness controls (neither the Fn keyboard shortcut nor the Gnome panel brightness tool) still failed to immediately change the screen brightness, though the Gnome on-screen brightness display bar would change. (I also tried restarting X after making the changes, but they didn't take effect.) - HOWEVER, if the brightness were "changed" as described above, the changes in brightness WOULD become apparent upon restart. -- Cannot change screen brightness on Fujitsu T2010 laptop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/220407 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
