I would just like to add that I also tried the 386 kernel in edgy (I used the 
generic one in my previous post) and the same problem exists.
It seems there are two separate problems detailed in this bug report or am I 
wrong?
The initial report is in regards to the pcmcia hostap drivers not working at 
all which is the problem I am having. Later posts regard hostap pci drivers 
which seem to work (sometimes?) if other pci wifi drivers are blacklisted. Is 
the source of these problems the same?
I would love to see the hostap_cs driver working in edgy. Is there anything I 
can do to help. I have time to do testing if anyone can explain what I need to 
do.
