Hello I am testing Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) Alpha 6 on Sony Vaio VGN-Z540C ( The Z series) and I am having a similar problem. The computer hangs on reboot. I am on Kernel 2.6.27-3-generic.
Which file(s) do you need to continue the bug request.
