Ok, I looked at the patch from their homepage and it seams the patch is faulty too old for the provided sources.
And now the strange thing ;) your device ID is already added in the original. So you should just unpack the tar.gz file in a new directory and build it their without applying the patch. Look at the README file in that directory for more informations. Don't forget to copy the dvb-fe-cx24116.fw to the /lib/firmware directory.
