The correct quirk for this particular board is actually model=dell-bios,
which is the default due to the following entry in
patch_sigmatel.c::stac927x_cfg_tbl[]:
SND_PCI_QUIRK(PCI_VENDOR_ID_DELL, 0x022e, "Dell ", STAC_DELL_BIOS),
By forcing the quirk to model=5stack, the original reporter of the bug
overrode the proper quirk, which does not exhibit this symptom.
