There is a detailed reproduce steps. The above is the steps in dmesg. 1. Run NetworkManager-0.7, it can't connect to APs, from dmesg, driver always try to associate one BSSID (here, we call BSSID-1) 2. Reload driver, driver also tries to associate the BSSID-1 3. Kill NetworkManager 4. Run "iwlist wlan0 scan" , scanning result lists only the AP(SSID-1) with BSSID-1 5. Run "iwconfig wlan0 essid SSID-2", association success! 6. Run "iwlist wlan0 scan" again, now scanning result lists all the APs around. 7. Run NetworkManger again, get same result in step 1 and the driver still tries to associate with BSSID-1
