I think I remember hearing a while back about a bug similar to this that
was caused by Xine closing down its stream after a certain period of
time.
wdog and Nicolai, could you please do some stopwatch tests for how long
it takes for the sound to cut out (hopefully it's consistent) after you
start up Amarok and immediately start playing music?
