Wouter I believe this is one of those bugs that simply can't be fixed currently.
Because the cdrom is mounted (almost virtually as I uderstand it). I can't then be mounted again by the system because the device is in use. However the setting is required by the system once installed and it can't be removed otherwise there wouldn't be a mount point once installed.
