Actually I should also note that the /etc/cups/printer.conf information does not change after the printer is initially set up. The "DeviceURI smb://harvey:[EMAIL PROTECTED]@ASOFSVR/Kyoc_Up" line as well as all other information remains constant when the printer is in either state.
