Hi Shawn,

Can you comment which version of the kernel you had updated to where you
see this only working with xfce4 and not with gnome?  Also linux-
image-2.6.27-4 was just released so you may want to give that a try as
well.  However, I'm wondering if this is really a kernel issue since you
commented that it works using one desktop environment but fails with
another.  What happens if you don't start gome and then issue a suspend
- 'sudo /etc/acpi/sleep.sh force' .
