Step to Reproduce: Suspend ( aka suspend to ram) then resume . After
that hibernate ( aka suspend to disk ) and resume.
Actual results: Laptop can resume from suspend to ram but can't resume
from suspend to disk and hangs on ubuntu loader . Watching the leds it
seems that it reads the image from hard disk and then nothing happens.
Caps lock works but everything is unresponsive and i cannot switch to
ttys. Please note that if I don't suspend to ram suspend to disk works (
tested many times).
Expected result: laptop resumes correctly from suspend to disk even if
previously suspended to ram, in hardy used to work.
Note: I have both intrepid and hardy on the same machine, I'm attaching
relevant info for both in a "jump in the dark" attemp to help you out.In
fact on hardy it used to work pretty well, on intrepid it doesn't.
Attachment marked as name-hardy are from the good working hardy system,
attachments marked as name-intrepid are from the bad working intrepid
system.
