Chris: yes...the problem persisted. Prompted by this bug, as well as problems using my wireless PCI card, I un-installed Ubuntu and went back to Windoze. The problems may have been unique to my PC...I don't know. I could probably figure it out if I had more time to work on it, but I do not. In any case, I gave up. However, when released I do plan to try/test the next Ubuntu version. Overall, the OS is good. Thanks. Jason
