After upgrade to 3.0.3+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04 on my amd64 wired things
happen
when you try to use firefox, untill you fully restart it it seems.
For me, after upgade (amd64 box), when I entered a word in search bar of
firefox then I got popup window 10x10 pixels, perhaps with an error
message.
All seems to be fine after restarting firefox.
Other people reported other problems, in getting assertion failed or
other warnings
